Here in the midwest, it's warm.

I think i've done more sweating this summer already than I can recall.

People seem to be acting weird or grumpy; is it related? Who knows.

Crops aren't doing too good; I feel bad for the farmers. They take a lot of risk each year and this weather isn't helping.

On the plus side, there are many good opportunities to go to the park, go out in the lakes or rivers, pools, and enjoy an iced cold beverage.

It is good weather for the target range, provided you got a good hat and ice water with you.

Cookouts are always welcomed with friends and good food. Enjoy a cigar and play cards.

What are your pros / cons for this weather?

Hot here in Kentucky also....the farmers have lost their pastures due to lack of rain. The corn did not yield any ears....now being chopped for silage. On the plus side.....well...I'll get back to you on that...

Well I have to admit, I have been in my pool more times this summer than the last years 10 combined! I just can't wait to get my electric bill for the a/c.

The weeds LOVE it! Grass is dormant. Can't mow, have to trim.

Finally had some "good" local sweet corn but thats done. No rain.

The driest and hottest it's been here in Central Indiana since the
"Dust Bowl" years is what the local weather people are reporting.
No positives except for the fact i have'nt had to get out my lawnmower for 8 weeks and counting. The drought has'nt hurt the weeds from growing however and i have had to get out the string trimmer a few times.
Corn in most places history. Still a chance the beans might make something.
Got up to 103 here today. Yuck !!!!

Things are getting a little tuff out here in Wyoming too. We sold all of our cattle 2 months early.

Why yestiday I seen a jack rabbit eatin' a granola bar and a coyote packin' a canteen.;)

Peoples moods.

I work for a big Distribution Warehouse here in Kansas. The heat has a lot to do with peoples moods. It is 95 out on the floor of our 526,000 square foot building. You just dont mess with anyone when its like this. Tempers are short and people are uncomfortable. Management to Union confrontation goes up quite a bit this time of year. We all just muddle through it the best we can and just remember everyone is hot, not just you. Tread lightly.

Hayden.

It's been ten to fifteen degrees above the normal average here in Central MT since the middle of May. I cut the grass three times I think.

My fields would now normally have grass tall enough to hide the fawns and you just see the adult deer from the neck up. The fields may have gotten up to a foot...on average less than that.

Even the majority of Thunderstorms with some decent rain have missed us. Can't seem to luck out. Yet other areas are doing OK west of us. Crazy weather for sure.

One of the local Ranchers told me they cut their hay already and got 15% of normal! Not worth the diesel fuel to harvest.

Get ready for some HIGH food prices this upcoming year.
