My 29-2

So, I have had this 29-2 for a while now. Love it. Haven't shot it much, but was taking a few pictures this weekend, so thought I'd post them up!

I think it was built around '75, guessing they were all nickel back then (vs stainless)?

Gotta say, love this thing. Has a mark in the grips due to trying a speed loader once... Other than that, it's in great shape.

Very nice! If the N starts with a 3 and has 6 digits 1975 is a good guess; if 5 digits likely 1970 or so.

These were made in blue and nickel at that time. Enjoy!

Reminds me of this one that got away!

Serial #N6855xx probably 1980 vintage. This one's a 6". I'm guessing yours is a 6 1/2". Either way, ya gotta love those nickels! I let it go to a good friend that really wanted it. But, I know, someday if he ever wants to part with it, where it is going to go!

N30000 is 1975-1976 era. Nice gun you have there looks great and i know they shooot great also, i have 2 29-2's shot them a few times but i use my M19 more asa a ccw.


middle row are my 2 29-2" both nickle plate and 4"bbl
