I just picked up this 39-2. Other than the factory fire it as been in a storage box since 1978. Take a look!

I have an old surplus 39-2 that is a fantastic shooter. You got a good find there.

That is a great looking 39-2 with all of the original stuff in the box. You got a great deal, enjoy your new 39-2

Why not shoot it?

There is no rule/law that says I can't shoot this. The way I see it... the gun is 35 years old. Although unfired by previous owner I paid $425 for it and now am the new owner. So if I want to shoot it I will. The difference in the sale price if I shoot it or don't (providing I take good care of it) is between $0 ansd $50 If it was going to devalue the gun from say $20,000 to $10,000 then I wouldn't shoot it. But we are talking the difference of at most $100. And I think you would find it hard to buy this gun for $325 with the box etc. even though fired... so heck yes I am going to shoot it :D:D:eek:

Wow, what a beautiful gun! I've always thought the Model 39 was the best looking auto, ever.

That gun has no "character."

Surely you want to get rid of that sterile thing for something more worldly.

Wanna trade?

Not sure if I still have the immigration papers for mine.
