My 57-5 Mountain Gun

I kind of like the bluing on older guns, but that doesn't look too bad at all -- especially considering your intended mode of carry, it's perfect. I've got some express sights on a little pocket gun. How are they working for you at greater than point blank distances? I may have to give the VZ grips some more consideration.

Vern, Thanks.... The sights are great so far. I am working out my point on distance... So as not to cover my intended target with my Front Dot , I am going to see at what yardage I can consistently hit a paper plate size target by placing it on top of my Front Dot , similar to 2 stacked circles. So hopefully from that range in , all should be good all things being equal.
Also, do get a set of the VZ Grips, you'll Love them.

No flames from me....it certainly will be durable! I am always reluctant to carry a nice blued gun in a holster in the woods, in the rain, for a hunting trip. I would have no worries with that one!

Guys, I appreciate all the comments. It would appear from them that I have hit the nail on the head for its intended purpose. Thanks, Sutty

I like the VZ grips for revos - hope they offer them for the K's soon! Is that their Tiger Stripe?
