My 586 one year later

Explain how a stainless revolver was rusting without some serious neglect from the owner. I have no doubt it had rust. I just don't blame the weapon. The same treatment of that 586 will yield much worse results. The 65 that did not rust would rust just like the GP if abused.

I get it. But trust me, I treat my guns like children. I didn't neglect the the GP100.

My 6" 586-8 is sweet too after putting a 1/2" wide target hammer in it, a layman's trigger job and now to install a patridge front sight I just received in the mail.

I have a set of grips I got for a Mod 19 but didn't use them. I just went to the garage and tried them on my 586 and they fit like a glove. Send me an email and I'll return one with pictures and let me know if they're what you need. Also, for KBM6893, stainless does rust without neglect in certain conditions and it does get humid in Texas!
