Put these Vz grips on my 624. Have shot some warm Special loads (as in 44 Special) and the grips were comfortable and gave good control of the weapon. I own several pairs of Vz grips and I like these on an N Frame 44 Special.

The Vz website confuses me. They list some S&W grips as square butt, but what I believe they actually mean are round to square conversion. Is that what you have here? Or is your gun actually a square butt?

I don't mean to speak for the OP...but I'm guessing his is an actual SQ butt.

Their site confused me as well, I have a SQ Butt 67-1 and a new, round butt 627, I wanted the same grips for both. I landed up calling VZ to clear it up (I didn't wan the finger groove model for my 627).

In short, they do not make a round to sq conversion grip. They make non-finger groove for sq butt, finger groove for round butt.

Strange decision to me...but it is what it is.

I ordered the set for the 67 and they are great:

@typetwelve, thanks for the information. That certainly helps to clear things up.

MAJPATT: The 624 that I owe a 4" is a square butt. Don't think Vz makes a round to square conversion, but they should. They do very little for Rugers also.
Love the grips that they do make.
