Ok, I bought this little beastie at a pawn shop for a little over $200 in near perfect condition. It is an 870 Express (slug gun) with a fully rifled barrel. I started my Dura Baking the entire gun in black (pretty easy process), next I installed the full length picatinney rail system (seriously lowered upward recoil). I then added the 6 way adjustible pistol grip stock. Next, I installed the 5 round side saddle mount and 2 round mag extension. Followed by the 260 lumen light. Then, just for fun, I added the bi-pod. The scope is a 4x32 that came off my AR. I stuck it on their just to see how it looked. I have an Eotech 552 reflex sight coming for it and a set of pop up rifle sights. What do ya think??

pretty sweet but i wuld lose the optics. how much heavier did it get with the rail?

The scope was just for looks. It goes on my AR. I added a little weight but nothing too significant. The bi-pod is also off my AR. Just messing around with it. I have an reflex sight and a set of flip up sights on order.

Nice rig.

Whilst working, my personal (issued) 870 had a pistol grip. I much preferred that over a full stock; certainly was much easier to shoot. True, it was a bit less accurate but accuracy is not a real factor when blasting #4 buck down range.

We loaded rifled slugs or #4. Carrier's choice...usually some combination thereof.

As an aside, I once stopped an major roadside brawl involving about 12 combatants by arriving on scene and announcing my arrival with the unmistakable sound of racking an 870. True.

Be safe.

The rail is a Rhino Tactical Rail, bought on fleabay. The scope is actually off my AR, have some flip up iron sights on order plus the holo sight.
