I bought a PSA Stainless freedom upper with Magpul handguards and it has a 1 in 7-barrel twist. I added a Nikon P223 3-9x40mm scope for my optic choice. I also changed out the stock installing a Magpul CTR stock with friction lock and quick release sling attachment point. The friction lock takes out all the play (wiggle) when the stock is locked into position. I felt that was a really worth while addition and I also liked the quick release sling swivel attachment point.

I just built my 4th Ar-15 using a PSA blem lower - $129 shipped, and a Wise Arms 9" Keymod Rail upper - $309 shipped. Got a Redfield quick detachable scope mount for $19.95 from Cabelas and put on a Redfield 2-7X scope that I already had. It's really accurate and perfectly reliable, it just needs a trigger job which I am going to try to do myself based on Youtube videos.
