Wish me luck. I am going to launch my nine foot pontoon boat (Outcast Fishcat 9) and use a Minn-Kota 30 pound of thrust trolling motor to propell it in the water (of course I will have my nine foot Carlisle oars with me as well).
I am launching it in the Boardman marina for the test run and may hug the shore on the Columbia to see if I can get the boat to run upstream.
So if you hear reports of sasquatch sightings near Astoria at the mouth of the Columbia river you will know that I was unsuccessful in getting enough power out of the little motor.
