My Best .44 Magnum *** UPDATED***

I've just shown these pictures to my Highway Patrolmen.

And all the while I'm saying SEE! See what you could have BEEN!

Outstanding Chuck.

Being born in August of 1956 ,it hurts me all the more. But I am happy for you.

Regards ,,,Al

Chuck that is outstanding !!!
It amazes me how people back in those days had the forthought of putting something like that away !! Even being a new caliber and a newly designed revolver !!
That tells me they must have bought a shooter as well !! JMO !!

Good for you,

Chuck,
Thanks for the photos of a really - really nice .44!!! and case and patch......
I expect that we'll see many more photos from that new camera.

J.C., if it wasn't an August gun, I'd send it your direction. There were fewer August shipped .44 Mags than in most of the other months except for the first 3 months of 1956. S&W took a two week break in August so that's probably what was the reason for that. I'm still trying to get together a display of 12 pre-29s, one from each month in 1956. I still need a Feb, July, and Oct shipped gun and I'll be able to put it all together.

BTT! It's just past it's 52nd birthday. I was waiting and expecting to see this .44 on August 26th! It wasn't there, so I took some action!
That's a beautiful gun Chuck!

The slight palm swell on the "cokes" makes for a more comfortable grip. Why, oh, why did S&W stop making them?
