This is a picture of my 26 pound Maine Coon “Timmy” over filling a 12''x12'' box. Since that picture was taken two of the sides have been pushed out! :D

There's a cat in Japan named Maru that ought to give you a chuckle if you like the "cat in the box" theme. :)

No pics but one of ours prefers the desk where I tinker with the guns in a room we jokingly refer to as an office. hardcase60

We have 3 cats. One is a 20lb maine coon mix and he too loves nothing better than a box that is way to small for him. I've never seen him try to get in a box that was more his size and he Will not put his head in small box with the rest of him sticking out.

The other two will get in to and and every kind of box or bag the can find. An empty cereal box is irresistible and they love sticking their heads in as far as they can. They sometimes need a little help getting a box off their head.

We picked up a "ticked tabby" female at the shelter nearly 2 years ago (when we headed over there I told my wife it was just to look and IF we get one it's a male and a kitten) and we found this absolutely wonderful girl cat. They had no info , estimated she was 3 and gave her a jail name of Jersey which simply fits. She is so incredibly sweet. If family stays even one night she howls at night for 1 day to one week when she checks on an empty bed! She's possessive and gets separation anxiety if you go somewhere else in the house without her in about 30 seconds.

We LOVE her sooooooooooooooooooo much!! Great thread!! Gun people are so mean...ya right I ain't buyin' it folks...

My larger cat tries to fit in a smaller box. He's a orange tabby with a pink nose. Any dog or cat with a pink nose is different in a funny way.

If your going to adopt get two kittens from the same litter there much happier when their kept together plus funny to watch. It works wth pups too.

Killer green eyes on cats. One of my outside cats was under the tarp on my big tractor. Only his green eyes were lit up in the black. So cool. I always wanted a Siberian bengal tiger.
