36(no dash) found at a gun show, well used, but not abused. I bobbed the hammer, leaving enough to cock single action. Added new Grashorn grips, vintage Tyler-T adapter, and Laserlyte laser. It is reliable, accurate, and easy to carry. The perfect combination of vintage and modern. I think it is the ultimate carry piece.

Looks great!!

I did sort of the same thing with a Baby Chief. The hammer spur was broken so I made it DAO.

I don't think I would be able to safely single action your M36. I see opportunities for a negligent discharge. Thumb slipping off hammer or pulling the trigger too far. But that's just me. YMMV

It takes a little practice to cock and un-cock hammer. You have to start with the trigger, then grab hammer with thumb.
You've a nice carry piece, but -- politely -- you have a taken quite a bit off that hammer spur to safely retain single action use. If you have to engage the trigger to manipulate the hammer, that's a negligent discharge waiting to happen.
