Chris, the only reason for going to the slimmer cut up jobbers is the factory rubbers are sticky on clothes, and chunky in width.

hogue rubber has a cushioning effect to recoil. In my opinion, the grippiness is gone with the homemaders. my pinky falls underneath the mag base pad on the first shot, but its not uncontrollable with ball. But then again, I have 3XL hands.

I prefer the thinness for better hideout, and hard grip surface so not to stick under a shirt or pocket. the perfect hideout SW semi auto with a two finger hold for me.

I am sure there are a few others. just place a WTB add which I think you have done here.

there are three CS9's on gunbroker right now and two of them have numerous bids. those two will be a fight to the end.

there is 1 CS45 on gunbroker and it has bids.

good luck

In the end I was mistaken to say my CS9 was done at that point. One time I accidentally had my pistol in single action with the decocker and safety off.I am a old time double action revolver shooter and couldn't warm up to the DA/SA arrangement with changing trigger pull.My gun took a trip to the S+W armorers where it got a DAO conversion and action trigger job.Now we have become great friends, it is dead on accurate, and no safety decocker levers to forget to engage.Pull the trigger it goes boom just like all my other revolvers and I am the safety.God Bless.....Mike
