I tell the younger shooters i know. They dont make them anymore so get what you want or you may miss the chance to get some really nice stuff. The newer stuff will be around.

Welcome to the Forum! You've got a nice group of fine S&Ws and the start of a fine collection...9mm, .45 ACP, 10mm, .44 Magnum, and .357 Magnum. But as Bobbysixkiller says, be careful because it can become addicting. How about adding a few blued revolvers or are you more into stainless? Also, if you do intend to continue collecting, you may want to pick a particular type of handgun to start with so you can focus on your collection: certain models, certain calibers, certain barrel lengths, etc. Otherwise, like some of us, you will become an "accumulator". LOL! Most of my modest collection consists of magnum caliber N-frame S&W revolvers, both blue and nickel, but I have many others that I've accumulated. BTW- back in 2006 I bought a SW1911 like yours (except mine has the rail under the bbl.), and used it for competition. It was competition ready right out of the box and is now my only 1911 pistol. Enjoy!

Yeah Im planning on a 29 6" because I loved Dirty Harry. I do love blued revolvers as well. I also want a model 27 in 4" and a 586 in 4" or 6" as well. This is my only 1911 and I just put new grips on it. I tell ya this is my favorite 1911 so I sold my others. Thanks for the advise!
