This 's my favorit beer and guns !!

My favorite beer and gun are whatever happens to be in my hand at any given moment.

Beer and guns don't go together. I showed up to give my CWL class
to a group one time, and they were all drinking. I gave them the option
of the class or they could continue drinking. They put the booze away
and we had a class.

Haven't had a brew since visiting Germany in 2019, but I always liked Budweiser. Got a chance to try the original Budweiser recipe called Budvar, in Czechoslovakia, and liked that even more than the US version.
I guess if I were matching brew to guns, my carry pistol, a Czech made CZ PCR and a Budvar would be a good pair.

Budwiser and S&W 41 Magnum. They go together just fine, just not at the same time.

In later years my Dad & I would often take the long trek to camp just to shoot his beloved Model 57. It had to be on a day when my sister was available to watch Mom. She couldn't be left alone, so Dad couldn't stay at camp over night any more.

One box of light target loads and it was all he could muster. A beer afterwards on the shooting bench and he was happy.

Yesssss, they do both go together. I miss those days...

It's called Czechvar on the US.

Quit drinking beer in the 90's. When I did, it was standard issue Genesee red eyes.

Quit drinking July 2019. When I did have a few it was Genesee Cream Ale. Best cheap beer there is and ever was.

My old dad used to talk about the time he quit drinking, stopped smoking, gave up gambling, and stopped chasing women, all at the same time. Always swore that it was the worst 45 minutes of his entire life.

Pretty smart man, my dad. I did my best to learn from him.
