I sort of inherited this from a friend's dad. It is a Colt Woodsman Sport model I think. The serial number dates it to either 1933 or 1934. It has not been refinished, and the only wear is around the muzzle. What a sweet little piece.

Simply marvelous!

I don't take it out often, but it shoots beautifully. VERY accurate. I think I may use it as a teaching tool for my 14 year old daughter.
 
A very classy old Colt.It would be welcome in my safe. :)

Very nice little gun! I believe those early ones were only designed to fire standard velocity ammo, so do stay away from the HV ammo. You have a definite collector's item there!
 
+1 on MAJ Bob Rayburn. Plus, he lives in your area (or he used to) and is a nice guy to talk to.
