I've had a lot of favorites. From .22 LR through .454 Casull and the X Frame .460. The SW revolvers are favorites of mine.
Ruger and Colt are the other favorites but today and ever since I bought this particular gun, it remains my favorite. It is my first 4" 29 N Frame and I love it more than all the other barrel lengths. For me recoil is less and muzzle blast is the same: Loud.
This is a machine engraved SW 29-10 in its original grips and whether I put Goncalo Alves on it or use the original grips it is comfortable to shoot. I absolutely adore my 29-10 machine engraved 4" N Frame 29-10:
It's a "new frame lock" SW dash 10. I have two other dash tens in 6.5" and another 629-1 in 8 and three eighth inches. I love each and every one of them too!
