I have bigger ones and smaller ones; more expensive ones and cheaper ones; prettier ones and uglier ones; but the one that gives the biggest grins to shoot is this mutt custom Model 10 by Cylinder and Slide...

It got a 3" re-barrel, Patridge front sight, adjustable rear sight, target hammer, target trigger, and a fine action job. It will never be a collector, but it sure does make me grin to shoot it...

That is so cool! I love the three-inchers. When I get elected Dictator-for-life all revolver barrels will be three and five inches!

That's not a mutt, it's a "custom" :) .

Looks like it has a shortened model 14 barrel on it, with the rollmark centered. Very nice!

I love it. I can see why it would be a favorite for you.

I'm no expert on Model 10s but my impression is that the mods performed "updated" it and give it a more modern appearance. Nice looking gun. Don

Personally I would treasure it cause it's unlikely to see another like it.
If it shoots good and you're happy it's a good piece to have.

I also think the 3 inch is the best. That gun is way cool!

These 4 "mutt's" get shot way more than all the "pure bred's" in the safe put together. Enjoy your fine lookin' mutt my friend.
