I've used a Beltman belt for over a year and I like it a lot, but when carrying a heavy gun like a 45, I find that using one buckle hole is a bit too lose and the next hole tighter was too tight.
So I looked for a more adjustable belt and found the 5.11 Operator Belt. I chose this belt because it comes with the internal plastic stiffener and it has the velcro attachment for the excess.
Now I can get my belt the perfect tightness and the excess folds back over the loop on my holster and velcros right over it, locking the holster in position.
I've only worn it for a day now, but it seems to be more comfortable to start, the Beltman was stiffer at first.
The price is right, with shipping free from a lot of places you can get a 5.11 Operator for around $45.
The belt buckle itself is a serious piece of machinery! It is rated to hold 6,000 pounds so that Turkey dinner will be no match for it, and if you need to rappel of a building you can use it as a harness point.
For the price I'd say it's worth a try. I am happy.
