My first Glock

I don't want to say I find it beautiful like artwork. I just don't find it ugly like some other guns. I don't care for milled out sections to make guns look artistic. People say Glocks are thick. But take for instance a Sig. It's thicker than any Glock but because the top part of the slide is milled slightly more narrow people OOO and AAA over SIG's despite the fact that they are all 1.5 in wide, including the 9mm where as Glocks are 1.18 for 9mm and 1.27 for 45acp.

Simple, straight lines look good and functional

I've had a G19 since 1995. Have run a G17 and G34 in IDPA and 3-gun. They are simple and they work. What else can you ask for in a handgun.

My most modified Glock. It is also my primary home defense firearm. It's equipped with every unfair advantage that is legal in Illinois.

I only have one Glock ,a G30S!Do't need or want anymore!My edc is a H&K PSP "and" a S&W model 60 2"! Sometimes I'll edc the G.or my Kimber

Glocks are ugly, but they work. I prefer hammer fired, but the glock was built the way a gun should be: ask the people that use them what they need then design a tool to meet those expectations every time. That's the definition of quality.

Took it to the range today and shot 6 mags, VERY nice shooter. I'm glad I bought it, nice to have a high capacity magazine pistol again!

I have a Gen 4 Model 19 and a Gen 4 Model 23 along with the Alpha Wolf 357 Sig conversion barrel. As much as I don't want to like either of them, when I evaluate weight vs size vs capacity vs reliability, you just can not find a better combination. The 23 is in the CCW rotation now that its cool and jacket time. The only modification I did was add night sights and the NY 1 trigger that increased the trigger pull to about 9 Lbs. I have no plans on getting rid of them, however, nor do I have any plans of purchasing anymore Glocks.

My S&W sw40c is a GLOCK. The courts said this and S&W had to pay GLOCK over 7 million dollars cash to settle this!
About bankrupted S&W.
So yes, I have owned a Glock .40 caliber pistol since before 1990, and didn't know it! Oh, and it always works perfectly!!!!

This spring I traded my Glock 21 for a S&W 629-4 5", I was happy as a pig in poop. On the way home, I remembered I just sold my last high capacity tactical pistol. I only had revolvers, and 1911s. left. I felt a little naked, so I bought a Glock 19 gen 4. I feel fully clothed, and like a pig in poop again.

High capacity tactical pistol? Where does one find one of those?

All I have are standard capacity boring Glocks

Great choice! Enjoy. Despite their low cost, Glocks deliver a bang dang near every time and are plenty accurate enough for their intended purpose. I carry a G26 with some frequency and wouldn't consider trading it for any other pistol. It fills it's role extremely well.

I started out with a G27 to replace my 38 Super Commander. Liked it a lot and at the same time, they had used G22's on sale, so I bought both and sold my S & W 40 bedroom gun. Accuracy was so-so (2 1/2 to 3" @ 7 yards). Was reading up on the 357 Sig and bought a conversion barrel. Groups shrank to 1 1/2 ". Bought another (ported) for my bedroom gun. Bought a G26 for my wife. It jammed EVERY time SHE shot it but NEVER for me. We looked at the G43 and got her one of those==NO JAMS! Same thing with a buddy's G26. It jams with female shooters but is fine for men. Seems to be ergonomics as a third female shooter has the same problem. I switched grips on my G26 and it works better (not flawlessly) for them. But all three can shoot the G43 with no issues.

Beware! Glocks can get pricey. I now own a G22 (converted to 357 Sig with a laser sight), a G27 (converted to 357 Sig), a G26 (slight modifications), and a G20 (10mm). I bought the G20 after reading about the Greenland dogsled patrols and how effective it was on polar bears.

Wife has her G43 EDC and a nightstand G43 with laser.

Don't need any more but there's an itch starting!

My Glock 17L is my "magic" gun: when I raise my hand with my eyes closed, the sights are aligned. It points like a dueling pistol.

I think there is no better weapon for home defense. If someone was kicking in my door, I'd want a Glock 17 in my hand. I own two G17's and would trust them over any other currently manufactured handgun.
