Most of that doesn't really apply in my case. I am already in the only room I will need to defend myself in and will have no need for opening doors or turning on light switches. The other two bedrroms are empty, kids grown and gone. I will yell for someone to leave my house while the cops are on the phone (if there is time) if they continue to come down the hallway towards my room, which is the very last room in the house, they will encouter the 12 ga full of 00 buck. and like I said, there is a 9mm in my wifes nightstand just in case.
