Congrat's on a beautiful grand-daughter!:D

Nothing like a grand-child to put things into perspective....

I hate to break the bad news to you. But you're in for a bunch of work! Bein' Grandpa isn't for the squeamish or faint of heart. From experience, I can also tell you that you're probably not up to the job ahead. You'll try awful hard, but there are just things you don't know or realize.

First and the hardest to understand is babies don't learn to walk. Everyone says they do, but they're liars. Babies, or maybe more correctly toddlers, learn to run. And you can't keep up with them.

But something I did with the first little girl was bad. I just grabbed her every chance I got and I didn't let go. If you wanted to know where she was (except when crying), she was in Grandpa's arms. We became and still are friends. Then the next lesson is to spoil her rotten! Its fun, and you don't have to suffer the consequences, that's for her parents.

Congradulations! Now, for the rest of your life you can buy her birthday present when you're out doing Christmas shopping! BTW. People always say this even just to be polite. But I have to say, she's really a great looking baby. Your life has just been more enriched that having a S&W lettered to Buffalo Bill. Many happy years ahead.

Congratulations on the addition to the family

Congratulations Grampa! I gotta tell ya, grandkids are the best part! I encourage you to spoil her rotten, keep her up late, feed her lots of candy, then SEND HER HOME!!! Revenge is sweet....:):):):):)

I plan to do just that, My daughter lives 2 hours away so when the baby is old enough for the weekends at Grandma and Grandpa all i can say is "Let the Spoiling begin" and i also told her i hope the baby grows up and is 10 times rotten as she was. LOL

Congrats on a beauty . May she always be healthy and happy.... I'm expecting my first grandbaby in late May. We don't know what it will be yet...just like my prayers for yours I'm praying for mine to be a healthy and happy baby!!

Thank you!! I will keep you in our prayers for a healthy Grandchild, there is no other feeling besides the birth of your own child that compares to how this feels.

Good luck and God Bless!!!!

Congratulations Ed,

Beautiful little grand daughter indeed! They'll change your life and spoil you fast!!!

I've got three grandsons, but we got IDENTICAL TWIN grand daughters 3 1/2 months ago and they actually lived with us for the first couple of month with the parents. WOW . . . what a treat and blessing (though a lot of work too of course)!

The wife and I get to see 'em a lot too, since they live in our town and I am totally smitten with the little gals. I imagine you will get hooked too in VERY short order! (BTW, I also live 2 hours from Tifton . . . to the north).

Here are our twins on Christmas Eve . . . and I concur with rburg . . . spoil 'em rotten and spoil 'em often!

Again, congratulations!

Ummmm. Ya know, if you decide you don't want to keep her, let me know. I think I'd be willing to buy or trade for her. Can I interest you in a pair of consecutive number Registered Magnums..even trade? :) There aren't many things I'd trade those guns for. :D Hows that for fixing a value on her!

You are dead meat! No.1, your wife is going to lose her mind and will spend all your money on baby girl stuff. And No. 2, you will be so wrapped around her little finger that you won't know which way is up. Congrats and just prepare yourself for what's coming.:D
