:D

I just bought my first S&W, a 686 Plus with a 3" barrel, mfg. 5/13/13. I know the barrel is abit short but the gun just looks "Right" and feels nicely balanced. The fit and finish looks good except above the trigger opening and below the
cylinder stop on the frame, someone got overly zelous polishing the frame and kinda messed up that nice crisp
line above the trigger opening. Other than that it looks great. The single and double action trigger pull feels pretty good, I've felt much worse on Smith's I've sampled at the gun counter! I think if I shoot a couple hundred rounds and dry fire it a bunch, it should feel real nice!

3" barrel .357's make for a great all around package. Packable, great handling, powerful and they even shoot great. A little noisy with plenty of muzzleflash but it is a good tradeoff for the benefits. You will love it!

That would be a great carry gun as the barrel is about just right for carry.

I have been searching for a 3" 686+ for over two months. Congratulations on your new gun! Now, post some pics.

Great wheel gun, I like the 3" .357. Next up a Pro Series 1911 or M&P. Your 686 will be lonely without some more S&W family!

Nice first choice!! Enjoy!!
