My father was friends with an old rancher when I was a kid,Herman. I called him Herman the hermit. Never married,stuck to himself and raised his cattle. When he got old (80s or 90s,I think) he became frail and his drs told him he needed to go into a nursing home. Herman went home and got out his shotgun...Some people just like their independence and being left alone,that’s all.

I have read the whole 29 pages over the last four days and believed I was as connected to Sue as any of you who have been with her through all her joys and sorrows. I am devastated to read about her passing. This dang screen is all a blur right now. Llance
