I'll bet the hood she shot wins the Walter Brennan impersonation contest in the prison.
Why do I get the feeling that most of the miscreants in the clink don't know who Walter Brennan is??

The original Charter Arms Bulldog was quite concealable for me, because the wooden grips constituted a distinct ledge on the right side. It was very secure carried IWB with no holster or clip, far more so than any J frame. I carried it at ten o'clock wearing a suit.Charter has out now a "Son of Sam" version with original 3" tapered blued barrel and wooded stocks.
Neat guns and the .44 packs a huge punch, but I never found the Bulldog to be all that concealable. It's a thick gun.
Guess those 44s just like to shoot low. The foot.
I wouldn't say to an ascertainty how it would turn out in the furture,
but I do know how somethings have worked out in the past.
To stay on the subject at hand, in addition to my 44 sidearm,
I keep a short 45-70 '86 close at hand as well.
.
Read that in THE BOOK didn't you .
I don't know about the book..........But,
A 45/70 will stop a chargin' Ram pickup truck.![]()
