I just got this black Arvo Ojala Hollywood fast draw holster for a belt I made for another holster. I had to replace the strap and put on an oval buckle to match the belt's. The long barreled black rig is original bought new in 1985. I made the matching belt for the tan holster I found on Gunbroker. I also have an original Buntline holster but no gun for it. Small rig is mini Ojala I made for my lefty son when he was around three or four. I think I have enough of these now.

If you see this mark on a holster it is very collectible.

Very nice collection WB. I must be on the wrong side of the country to see any of his holsters locally. Isn't he the Matt Dillon holster maker?
He is. He's also the guy in black Matt Dillon shoots in the intro of Gunsmoke. Here's a quick video of him including on the set of Silverado, and some stuff he sent me in 1985 that I put in a frame.

Truth?

I recall watching the old TV show To Tell the Truth in about 1970. I don't remember the story of the contestant and his two impostors, but it was something to do with guns and western movies.

Tom Poston asked each one if he knew Arvo Ojala. Each one said no.

I concluded that the contestant had most certainly lied since no one in his position could not know Ojala. Cheating on a TV show? Say it isn't so.
