steve,i prayed for you and your family in church this morning.connie is fine.she is in a bettter place,thats for sure.my wife has lymph node cancer,and lupus,and her mortality is heavy on all our minds.
gods devine plan will decide,as he did with your wonderfull wife.be strong,and accept gods will with grace,but still grieve.its part of the healing process gbu friend

and most sincere sympathy.

I lost my wife in August 2008 from COPD/CHF after watching her decline and suffer for almost 12 years. Her last 18 months were spent in a nursing home because she had reached the point where we couldn't take care of her needs any longer.

I both sympathize and empathize with you and I know the guilt that come with the relief that death ends the suffering but begins the loneliness.
