Recently, I decided it was about time to get my first .22. My other guns were just getting to darn expensive for me and my wife to shoot for fun on the regular. At first, I was sold on the 10/22. However, after following this forum for awhile now, I decided to try the 15-22 cool-aid. Anyways, picked it up yesterday and was jonesing all night long to get it to the range today. Well, I just got back from the indoor range and here is how it went. I put a whole 550 round box of Federal Champion value pack ammo through it and had only 1 FTF. That 1 FTF was ammo related. All shots were taken with the iron sights @ 25 yards. I was gutting the center 10 of my silhouette targets so quick and with only 3 targets, I started making quick work on removing the rest of the numbers. One full magazine per number, with a round or two here and there walking (shooters fault):o. These shots were taken both standing and from the bench rest. Oh man, this gun rocks! This thing shoots WAY better than I do, I'll tell ya that. Looking forward to date night with the wife back at the range tomorrow. If anyone is sitting on the fence about one of these 15-22's...run do not walk to your local gunshop and pick one up. With that said, it's time to dress this baby up!;)

Awesome choice, just purchased mine today too. Can't pick it up yet though until the 19th. It will be the longest 10 days of my life.

From now to the 19th is, as the women say, "Shopping Time", hit up Amazon, Ebay and M&P websites for that upgrade madness you will be going through to bring your baby up to that tactical Terrorist look you always wanted, Red Dots, Scopes, Magpul MOE furnitures, to name just a few... That is where the fun really begin, the building stages.. Welcome aboard the M&P train....
