I don't understand why you would want to shorten the case? Why not just download and use the same .41 mag case? It seems that you would lose accuracy traveling the longer distance from the shorter case to the barrel throat. Also, there are many documented reduced loads for .41 mag. I guess there is something to be gained if they're offering special brass for it?
I don't shoot .41 much because I have not yet set myself up for reloading. But I love the caliber.
I currently have a long barrel 57 no dash that, of all my guns, remains the one I shot most accurately the first time I took it to the range. I'm looking for a 58. Yup, these are hard to find in California, but they are out there.
