My Model 67

Well, I recently purchased a M67 and wanted to find out more info on it. I had a scan through the FAQ's and discovered someone had put a list of serial numbers and dates, so I found out mine stems from 1972. My SN is 18Kxxxx. The one thing I wanted to find out, is whether or not +p can be fired from it. I have read it can, and I have read it cant, so am coming to the pros for the answer.

+P .38 Specials are okay in your revolver.

S&W advises that all model-marked revolvers can safely fire +P ammunition.
 
john traveler is correct, assuming your revolver is in good working order. Here is a chart where S&W responds to the +P question. In my opinion, their classifications are somewhat conservative...
