Hi! I just got a 34-1 with the 2" barrel I am excited about. For the price curious I think it was a fair deal at $355 tax included. I was a happy camper! There is a nick on the side plate and a little bluing wear on the right side of the trigger guard.

What type of gun were you holding on the seller to get it for that price?

That's a great deal ya got! Congrats!

Yeah, it's always fun to find a nice one reasonably priced. Now I will have to shoot it, I haven't shot a 22 in a 2" barrel before!

That's about $200 worth of side plate nick and bluing loss! That is a great gun at a great price.

I shot a rabbit with one just like it once, at about ten yards. My daughter had been wanting me to shoot a rabbit for her to eat. She loved all kind of wild game, but had never had wild rabbit. I spotted the rabbit in a briar thicket. He thought he was hidden, but I could see his head. I shot him, and sent a friend that was with me in to get him. It took my friend fifteen minutes to get him out, and he was bloody and his clothes were torn up. "Born and bred in the briar patch."

That is the kind of story you will be telling if you keep the little .22 long. That kind of thing is what they are best at.

By the way, my daughter ate every bit of the rabbit, chicken-fried, then cooked down in gravy.

I shot a ptarmigan at 25 yards with my 34-2 using 2 hands. The guy with me could,t hit it with his Ruger automatic. He was pissed.

Pinned 34's sell for about $450 around these parts without box or docs....if you can find one.
The 4" square butts seem to outnumber the Smith .22lr snub round butt.
Very elusive lately.
Congrats and thanks for sharing...

Congratulations on the purchase or should I say theft as that's an awesome price you got it for.

Paid more for mine but it's turned into my favorite S&W. For a snub the accuracy is very good and its a blast to shoot with cheap .22 ammo.

Congrats!

Congratulations for your purchase! It's a sweet-looking little revolver. You'll love shooting it. I've owned a 4" for many years and is it ever fun to shoot; and accurate to boot!

Congratulations ! Wonderful shooter and great price. You should
remember to say something nice to your dealer next time you see him.
I wouldn't mention why to him, but just brighten his day a little.
That's a deal you may never see the equal of again, but, just in case....

That is a sweet looking 34-1. I bought one in 1974 and ended up selling it. I found another one in 2001 and paid what you did so I think you got a wonderful deal. Congratulations.

Had the opportunity to shoot a 34-1 this past weekend. A very nice revolver.

Regarding your price - I do think a warrant for outright thievery may be in order.

Great find.

Congratulations!! Great looking M34. I was looking for one of these the past few years and settled for a new M63, on which I did a wartectomy.
