I'm 57 so my eyes are not getting any better. I can shoot this sight without any corrective lenses. Have 150 rounds through it without issue.

It's a 4 MOA. I was just shooting indoors at about 10 yards for the 150 rounds, so did not shoot long or in the sun yet.Nice, is it 4 or 8 MOA? What is your max distance? How is it in sun light?
I have had the Jones for one of these for my Ruger 44 carbine, for some time, but have worried that the J-Point might not hold up under repeated 44 mag recoil..

They could! Getting LASIK was the best investment I ever made. 20/10 in both eyes. I never saw this good, even as a kid. Oh yeah, nice gun too.
BTW, I'm 57 also.
Any one mounted a JPoint on a K38 or a K22? Feedback? I also have the "old eyes" issue. Thx
It's my close focusing ability that is suffering, I need cheaters to read. Distances beyond my outstretched arm I can see fine, I wonder if Lasik can help with that. I use very weak reading/safety glasses to see the front sight on my standard sighted guns. With the Red Dot or laser sights I don't need corrective glasses.
I have a Docter Dot sight on several of my Model 14's. My eyes are shot and this red dot has helped improve my shooting tremendously. Yes, the gun doesn't look quite right with an optic mounted on top, but when you can shoot out the center of the bull at 25 yards, that doesn't seem as big of a deal any more.
Here's a couple of pictures of it mounted on a Model 14, using one of the Allchin STS mounts, that also fit the JPoint sight:
