I bought a PSA PA-10 Upper and Lower this week for $579 + shipping. I received the Lower at my FFL yesterday and the Upper will be here on Monday. I will be mounting a Vortex Crossfire II 4x12x40mm AO scope and then out to the range.

Please give us a range report. I have two AR 15's from PSA uppers, lowers, etc. They have shot very well. The one in the photo shot this 9 shot group in center bullseye at 75 yards. PSA 20 inch upper, Colt lower and 1-4x Nikon M-223 scope. I was shooting my reloads.

Can you tell me what type of upper such as barrel length, hand guards, etc. Also what is the price on an upper? You can PM me if you don't want to put it here.

tlay, if you are asking about my particular AR, it is a 20 inch 1:7 Nitride M-lock Freedom upper. It was on sale at the time I bought it, it cost $349. shipped with sights, bcg and charging handle. I checked the web site and they are presently available. PSA is Palmetto State Armory, they change offerings almost daily, you just have to keep checking until what you want is on sale. The experts claim that their products are entry level, whatever that means. As far as I'm concerned they are high quality, function flawlessly and are reasonably priced.

Stock number is 516447195

If you are asking me the one I bought has an 18 inch stainless barrel with a 1/10 twist and with a 15 inch free floated hand guard and it was $399. The lower had a polished trigger group and a Magpul butt stock and Magpul rubberized over grip and it was $179. There are a couple of U-tube videos on this combination and they were favorable. I also have two of their Freedom AR-15's with a 1/7 Stainless barrel and Magpul furniture and they both run great.

PA10 rifles are probably the best value rifles on the market. They are reliable and EXTREMELY accurate, plus cheaper than most "name" brand AR15's like Colt or DD. I absolutely love mine and it eats every type of ammo I feed it, including steel cased Wolf .308 (also does very nice groups with that stuff)

Here's 50 yards, unsupported while seated w/crappy wolf .308. Holding up shell to give an idea of 20 round (mag) group size at 3 seconds between shots

With Better ammo it's obviously even tighter. I zeroed it with Malaysian surplus so the POI is slightly different obviously when shooting Wolf. If you have ever thought about a .308 AR now is the time to buy, and th PSA rifles, if you buy the lower and upper separately, will run you between $460-$560 when you buy them on sale. You can't beat that!

Awesome shooting and my and my PSA PA-10 upper is suppose to be delivered today. I can't wait to put it together and get some range time soon.

Here it is after everything arrived and I wish the weather was warmer outside than the current 16 degrees.
