Somewhere down below I posted about this Voltaren in pill form, Diclofenac Sodium, 75 mg, 2/day. This whiplash injury gave me this gawd awful head ache darned near 24/7. Nothing the doctor could operate on anything to help. ("I woke up every morning with no way to hold my head that didn't hurt!") I blew through my opiates way too fast...I don't like to do that for obvious reasons.
Anyhow, for my PSA of the day, if anyone ever has an issue that Ibuprofen, acetamin-based anything, aspirin, won't work, ask your doctor if it's right for you!! (Too many cable TV ads for me!)

I'm glad it works for you. I mentioned my chronic back pain and sometimes knee issues to my provider at my last annual visit to the VA. He prescribed a 1% Diclofenac Sodium gel to apply to the offended area. Its amazing for my issues. He told me that he uses it after spending a day snow skiing with his kids. I don't have serious chronic pain on a daily basis, just flare ups and often use a high CBD content ointment that also works wonders for my issues. My wife tried the Diclofenac cream on her knee issue and it did not work nearly as well. Apparently there can be issues with its use as they issue a dosing card to show you how much to use on each application, a little goes a long way.

I've used Voltaren creme on several occasions. Each time I broke out with a rash. Never seemed to help. I'm definitely not taking the pill.

Yes, I believe if death could be a minor side effect, I’d have second thoughts on using any medication. Reading up on some of the tests I saw that between 1000 people given placebos vs the 1000 getting the real thing,ONLY 4 people died from a direct reaction to the drug. Now, I usually read this stuff before hand, ya know? And to so fla native, no, I haven’t had any side effects. I was hoping for one of those unexplainable but good surprise activity; this ‘hood is filling up with the 4th generation of young, healthy, people. Really though, no ill side effects.
I’ve really run the gauntlet with CBD, THC, RSO, all forms of intake like gummies, oils, smoke, chew, brownies, etc, etc, but sure, getting a thc reaction is gonna happen, but seriously, I just want some relief. This new to me non narcotic stuff really works, for me. Not my back, but something on old neck is a plus!

Glad it works for you. The drug does have a couple of issues..the major one it is an nsaid..so if you have reasons not to take nsaids or at a major dose of same...don't use it. esp if you are on blood thinners. One of my docs just took me off of it. I take Xarelto blood thinner for A fib

Be warned however, that 100% of people that drink water or breathe air will die

Diclofenac did wonders for my knee some years ago. Then I had some blood clots and was put on the blood thinner Eliquis. They took me off the Diclofenac and the achy pain came right back. I finally had my knee replaced a few months ago. No more knee pain for me now.
