Sweet. That's a bad picture? I can't wait to see a good one.

What grips are those? I like them.

Can I borrow a cup of.......never mind.

I'm running the indoor range the week of the 6th...but I might hit the outdoor range next week since it's not that far...the wood does look nice but I have to say, they could be a bit thinner...and I'm not crazy about the contour...the pachs feel great, but ugh, oh well...form over function this time I guess...:)

Send 'em back if you don't like them......:D

Or grow bigger hands.

Try and get a pair of the Badger boot grips they are great.

Try and get a pair of the Badger boot grips, I dont have the time right now to dig my DS out with them. Search for one of Erichs threads were he show's his with the Badgers.

Or splurge on some Grashorns. Nothing looks nicer on a blued gun than a great set of stags.....maybe ivories, but that's waaaay out of my league!

Pete, I find the badgers a bit to short for my tastes....as for stag or ivory, I like them but they are actually out of policy...not sure why...guess if I found a set I really liked I'd be a rebel and put them on....since I have my dad's stock wood from his 69, I would like to put them on...found this pic on the Colt forum...have to say, I like this set up....:)

Very Nice lookin piece sip. If it does'nt shoot all cylinder in one hole,
i'll take it off your hands cheap.

Sip,

I have a Dick Spl. (exact same one as yours) and it is set up with the grips and Tyler T as you have posted above. I find that it's the best "compromise for fit, function, concealability and comfort. The original grips were a Pachy type hard rubber but I found them too large and "sticky" for my needs.

The wooden grips on the gun in your last post are out of production, but still available in new condition. You can even get them with either gold or silver medallions. I forgot where I got mine, but I know the're still out there. You might want to get a couple of sets because the Colt grip checkering is much finer than Smiths, and they smooth out quickly if carried daily.

I think your DS would look dandy with the original style Colt grips and the T-grip. Fine pistol. Makes me want another like yours.
