My New M&P Shield EZ 9

Does anyone have a problem with the grip safety? I handled one at my LGS and half the time it wouldn't fire due to the grip safety not depressed enough. I grip my guns high but it seems to work better on the EZ9 in my grip is not so high. If it had a memory bump, like on a 1911, it would be better.

I have maybe 350 rounds thru my EZ9 and have yet to have any issues with (or even thought about) the grip safety. Works flawlessly for me, noting I have thousands of rounds thru my full size MP and my PC Shield and the transition between them and the EZ isnt something that I even worry about.
That said, I do have to catch myself when cleaning as the grip safety is not to be used during take down and reassembly. Just an fyi if you dont have one yet.

I like my 9EZ a lot. Had to learn my grip with my 80 yo hands because of grip safety.. but now it's automatic.

My wife wants to pick up one of the 9mms to replace the .380 EZ she's currently carrying.

When she bought hers there weren't any being made in 9mm.
