My New Nickel Model 49 Bodyguard

Hi All,
A week or so ago a member posted a link to the PA Gun Owner's Forum suggesting that someone should buy the model 49 that was advertised there, well today I did just that! The gun is a nickel flat latch with diamond grips that looked kinda dingy in the photos, but for 325.00 I still thought it would be a good partner to my nickel model 38. What a difference a couple of hours cleaning and polishing with Mothers makes. And if that wasn't enough the serial number dates it to 1962, making it a "birthday gun". Here is a photo of it with the model 38.

but I think I'll decline for now! I guess now I have to find a blue 38 and a blue 49 and a 638..... This Bodyguard ting could get expensive!

Mothers Aluminum and Mag Wheel Polish, it's in a small red and white can. Works great on nickel, but be gentle when using it. Nice 3"er you have there, the Mothers will make it shine!

How are you doing? I'll be sure to keep you in mind, but for now, I think I'll hang on to it

. The gentleman that had the 49 also has a nice 66 2.5"er that is for sale, unfortunately I'm second in line for it, we'll see what happens.
