My new pocket J-Frame is a keeper

They are a great weapon...........
I love my "Mini cylinder" M49 that hits 21 oz.

I never found a "short" M60, as yet.

A 357 magnum in that little revolver is just a wee bit too much for me but have fun with that "BIG" ammo.

Everyone knows how much I love J-frames, but the 649 in .357 would be much too heavy for my pocket!

Every time I handle my 649 (it's an older model, not a .357 Magnum) - which I LOVE - I wince a little at the idea of carrying it in my pocket all day instead of my 642. But I think about it a lot!

P.S. A gentle suggestion: never sell a snub to fund something else, sell a "something else" to fund another snub! Happy New Year to all.

I love that! Happy New Year to you and everyone!

The only J frame I ever parted with was a gift to a friend so I'll never regret that (nickel M 36 - square butt). Since that time I have acquired many snubbies, Js, Ks, an L, and even a Colt. It will be a LONG TIME before any leave me.

And someday soon you'll see the transition snubby - the 4" DAO M 64 being worked into a 1 7/8" snubby. That will be cool to carry and I'll have to get past the extra weight if it fits into a pocket. If not, onto the belt it will go!

American1776 you're right to make sure you have one!!!

HNY to all!

Congratulations! You've become a "J-hound!" Not easy to be one, you have to be on the lookout for J-frame threads you can contribute to. We're running a little behind on membership cards, but you don't have to show a card to be a J-hound. Welcome aboard!
