My new Ruger Wrangler

Black plastic just don’t work for me, gotta have the wood! :D
We’re suppose to be getting rain the next few days? As soon as I can I want to get it out and shoot it.
One of the reasons I bought it was for teaching the grandkids so pop has to get out and teach himself!

I, too, put the Altamont grips on mine, a tad different style, but sure love the wood compared to the black plastic. I got the Triple K holster off the Ruger site, but did not care for it much, and have ordered one I found on Ebay.

Ruger must be selling a gazillion of those! I have a short-barreled Sgl Six with two cylinders so I can’t really justify one. I wish Ruger would let Altamont engrave their logo on the grips – just like S&W does. Not a big deal but the logos would look nice.

I haven't shot one, only handled. No question in my mnd that it's the better of the low end SA 22s. Are they going to make a 32 or is that someone's wishful thinking turning into a rumor?

What material is used for the receivers of the Ruger Wranglers? They can't be sold here in Minnesota, and I heard the reason is that the receivers are made of polymer. Is this true?

The receivers are made of aluminum and the grip frames are
made of a zinc alloy. Barrels and cylinders are made of solid
steel, no liners. Barrel is threaded into the frame. Internal parts
are stainless steel and are the same ones used in the Single Six.
The Wrangler is a Single Six with less expensive metal used in
the main and grip frame and a Cerakote finish. Certainly one of
the best buys in revolvers today.
