So after doing some thinking and looking and looking and looking, I decided I wanted another 45lc and came across this and fell in love. What do yall think? Smoothest trigger I've ever felt and tight as a bank vault. She is lightly used and is a winner in my book. She is a magnaport custom and she is all mine. I may try to get some range time in tomorrow. I already put on a set of Ahrends smooth grips.

Nice.

I'd like to see it with the Ahrends on - I'll bet that makes a great carry piece.

ETA: I just noticed this is my first post. Apologies for lurking for so darn long w/o ever saying anything.

super sexy; get rid of those rubber grips; i know they work but they are ugly. post some images with the ahrends. i got a pair on m 4" 629; red raspberry dymound wood [a rare color; never before seen them in ahrends]. they look great on ss.

Sweet custom 25 and congrats. Tom T. has a really cool one too. That baby is crying for a set of Ahrends. Much better grips IMO than the cool looking but over priced combats.

Updates on it's shooting capabilities would be appreciated by myself. Want one in .45 ACP real bad.

Welcome Janitor. Lot's of knowledgable and nice folks here. This site will have you on a S&W quest that can become EXTREMELY addictive and expensive :-)!

Thanks very much Sportsterguy. fwiw - I'm already addicted. :)

And now ... I want a 25 in .45 Colt. Sheesh.

I hope to get to the range today but I'm not holding my breath, I'll get some fresh pics with the new grips soon, these were the photo's from the auction. Thanks all for your comments and support and if she shoots half as good as she looks I'll be overjoyed.

So I finally got some range time in today and wow what a smooth shooter. She shoots about 3/4 of an inch high with the rear sight bottom out at 15yrds so looks like I will need to test a few different loads to find one that shoots point of aim in her. Other than that she was a smooth shooter and a great time on the range was had. I did not have alot of time to do "proper testing" but I got some great touching 3 shot groups and the double action was the smoothest I have ever had in any revolver. More to come as time and money allow.
