32 20 is one of my favorite calibers. PO refinished it but bore is great.

I'm also mysteriously drawn to the .32-20...Here's my first one, shipped a couple of years earlier than yours......Ben

Those stocks look great! What did you do/clean them with?
I can't remember, it depends on what they look like when I get them...Among other things I have in my arsenal Howard's Feed 'n' Wax, Howard's Restor 'a' Finish, Old English Scratch Cover, or to remove a previous heavy-handed finish acetone and non-chlorinated brake cleaner...For grime and such Murphy's Oil Soap or Simple Green...If I get lucky maybe nothing more than a light coat of RenWax... :giggle: ...Ben

My 6" .32-20 M&P (aka Model of 1905 4th Change), s/n 118705, is pretty close to Truckman's s/n and also ca. 1924. I haven't lettered it so I have no idea to whom it was shipped or exactly when. Mine shows quite a bit of honest wear, but it's still mechanically in great shape and a very accurate shooter. Sometime back in the day a "PO" installed a copper bead on the front sight...it actually works quite well! Enjoy!

That is very close...I have not yet asked for a deep dive on mine, so it's possible they went out on the same invoice...I'm still trying to figure out how the Chief of Police of the San Antonio PD wound up with my gun since he's the one who lettered it...Here's the envelope Roy used to mail him the letter......Ben
