That's one of my "grail guns" that I have always wanted, but always seemed to be on the back side of price wise. Every time I see a nice one I think "that's just too high", and the prices always seem to keep climbing........... I'm going to just have to bite the........ wallet, and get one. My 696 ND is lonely........

I can’t remember whether or not this actually is a Lew Horton gun. I do know that Smith & Wesson confirmed it was not in the serial number range affected by the recall (cylinder hardening IIRC).

Nice big bore CCW.
I'd love to have one just like it - but these days they are way out of my price range.
So, for now, I'll have to be content with my Jovino Terminator.
Very similar to your 624 - though the Terminator will actually handle 44 magnums (if you're up to it )

Still got "em". Still shoot "em". They ain't going anywhere.

I believe mine are also lettered by Lew Horton. Plus the matching holsters. Unfortunately, no boxes.

That particular model had a factory recall. The red circled "C" on the label indicates it was returned to S&W and passed inspection.

Not the entire production run, just a specific range of serial numbers. So you could have one without markings that is fine - just call S&W.
