That UH is sort of a copy of a cross between Randall's Models 3 and 4, design-wise.
I think they were very good knives and excellent values.
I hope this is an original US-made knife, not the current Chinese item?
I have a couple of the UH pocketknives and like them. And a fillet knife for fish.
Unlike the cheaper Old Timer line, the Uncle Henry knives had good stainless blades and better overall finish.
The Staglon handles are a form of DuPont Delrin.
Their equivalent to the Buck Model 110, the LB-7, was used by a Canadian hiker to kill a cougar that attacked him. The folding knife fared well, once the man managed to get it out and open, while keeping the cat's teeth off of his throat. That knife had a wood handle, but the same was available with Staglon, I think as the UH-7.
Now that the original Schrade factory has closed, finding a good example of a nice Uncle Henry is a worthwhile achievement. Unless someone tries to call them collectible and inflates the price, they're still good values. And really good knives!
I wish I'd bought a few more, back when they were sold everywhere, and I took them for granted.
