My other area of interest: military .45s

cyrano, nice guns and rigs. i think this spring i'm going to have to take them all out for photos with their appropriate rigs, original ammo boxes, etc and make me up an album so i don't have to search for 30 minutes to find a few pics. thanks for sharing. lee

Nice collection Lee. I have one 1943 Remington Rand but do have a couple of pistol belt rigs. One being a WW1 belt, holster, canteen, mag pounch and wound pouch but no WW1 Colt to put into it.

This really isn't helping me. Im dying for a real 1911 all I have is a RI. What I want is one with the classic look without all the striations everywhere, a regular grip safety (none of that never tail nonsense), an ambiand thumb safety (im a lefty) and modern sights. 8 round capacity is nice but not a must. Basically whatsthe in thesethe photos but with ambi safety and modern sights. Is there one out there like that?

Lee, great collection! That US&S is one I've always wanted.
