Hi guys,

I have been wanting to tap into some of the great knowledge here, and am finally getting around to it. I have a variant of a PC 945-1 that I have never seen another example of and haven't had any luck finding any information on. It is a 4", with factory bead blasted SS finish(no polished flats), and straight (standard) slide serrations. The finish and serrations seem uncommon amongst other 945's I have seen and/or read up on during some online research. What gives? Anybody have one, or know the origins etc, etc? I have attached some pictures (sorry for low quality) Thanks in advance for any insight on my pistol.

BTW Mine has been an amazing pistol!! Super reliable and accurate!

I was sure somebody had one. That no dash is a BEAUTY! Thanks for sharing.

Do you know any other details about it? Was it a limited distributor only offering? What year range(s) was this configuration offered? Etc?

I know I know.....a lot of questions! This is the only weapon I have ever owned that has been this challenging to nail down all the details and origins.

No problem on the questions, that's mostly what this forum is about. Both of the dash-1 models above (with the straight serrations) have PCZ serial number prefixes, and the no-dash with the fish scale treatment has an RSA serial prefix, both of which I believe indicate a special run produced for one of the custom distributors. I'm not certain about all this, because my ability to locate and acquire these guns has developed faster than my research. ;)
