I just bought a PC 945, picking it up next week. Can anyone tell me if this particular weapon is as accurate as most say?

Mine took some experimenting to find the right ammo that shoots well out of it.

But honestly, for the amount of custom features on it and work the Performance Center puts into them, the results I got with my 945-1 are disappointing compared to what I get with my '70 Series box stock Colt Gold Cup.

Other have reported better results with their 945's, so mine could be an anomaly.

The 945 does far out strip my Gold Cup in the cool factor though.

I have a friend that has had a 945 for several years.
His pistol is one of the most accurate I have ever shot.
It will function well with any ammo that you feed it.
A well built gun with a nice balance, more muzzle heavy than a 1911.
I would love to get one some day.
Post some pictures and let us know how it shoots when you get it.

I shoot a S&W 945PC in bullseye pistol. Supperbly accurate, totally reliable with 185 gr. LSWC's and will deliver groups 1/2 to 3/4 inch groups, center to center, at 50 ft. - what more can I say

You can count on that. The gun is so pretty I'm not sure anyone can keep me from NOT posting pics.:)

Forgot to mention the only minus to the S&W945PC is that one cannot use 1911's grips, holsters, etc.
