My S&W Stainless PPK-S I carry all the time and my 1975 W. German Interarms PPK-S, never been fired, so I just fondle it. Both 9mm Kurtz. I stole both of these at the same location about a week apart, $425 for the S&W and $450 for the blued W. German. Last time I checked GB was getting around $800-$900 for the Smiths and the Blued un-fired was appraised around $1,600 on the Walther forum and substantiated by a sale on GB for one, same year, not quite as nice going for that amount.

I had these rose wood grips on my S&W for a while. They look fantastic and feel great, but aren't as thin as the original grips so I went back to those.

That's a pretty gun! I've wanted one for a while now and have bid on a few in the past but it never came to be. If and when it ever does I WILL put on a tux and stand in front of the bathroom mirror saying, "The name is Pitbull. Boudie Pitbull..."

I'd buy both for the same reason, not even going to lie!

Guess I should have kept mine. Interarms one purchased around 1983. Paid around $300 which I thought was high at the time. Friend paid a lot less for a German made one in 74 new.

Had an Interarms French version back in the day. traded it for a Dillon 450, Thumblers Tumbler, scale, dies and etc. Wish I had it now but I got a lot more use out of the reloading setup.

I had him "melt" the edges a little and remove some of the pages of writing these things seemed to be stamped with. Most of what is left is Smith & Wesson, the serial number, and the caliber

Very nice.

I like the PP family of pistols and own several in both 22LR and 9MM Kurz.

A couple of years ago I had a small bonus check so I sent this PPK away for a few months. It came back nicely scratched up.

I was shooting this one just yesterday. It is one of the newer ones already set up for the can

I was all set to have one of my 22s ghost threaded for a suppressor when these new ones came out.


Having a very meaty hand, I am thankful for Smith and Wesson finally extending that tang far enough to eliminate hammer bite


While I do not own an Aston Martin, I do know where James Bond's is located.

If you look over my left shoulder in this picture you will see Little Nellie hanging from the ceiling. This is the largest Bond collection in the world. The owner even through a black tie and martini party for the Bond 50th Anniversary.

Funny thing about me though, I actually prefer a satin stainless finish. My S&W PPK/S had a high polished finish when I first bought it, but it smudged extremely easily, reflected sunlight harshly, and the little uneven bits of wear it got from carry bothered me, so I actually did the opposite of what you did and converted it to a satin stainless finish. It's not as flashy anymore, but I like the way it looks much better now.

It's a shame Smith & Wesson isn't making them anymore because they've grown increasingly expensive in recent years. Thankfully, I bought mine in 2016 for $500, which seemed expensive at the time, but is actually rather cheap by today's standards. Walther Arms USA in Fort Smith, AR is supposedly going to release a new production run of PPKs soon for $699, but they've been saying that since 2015, so I'm not holding my breath.

The only PPK I ever had was a German marque and it had an alloy frame. In 7.62, of course. When I carried it, I wore it just to the left of my navel under an untucked blouse. A neat little package, fondly remembered.

When you use the decocker/safety always lower the hammer slowly, thumb works for me, rather than dropping it.
Same with the M59.

Some consider the PPK a large Mouse Gun.
