I didnt know if I should post this here or in the CCW section but here it goes. My wife usually buys me one gun for Christmas but surprised me with 2 guns this Christmas. And on top of that she got me GG&G bolt handle for my chopped 1100 and when I thought it couldn't get better she got me a Safariland 518 paddle holster for my 4566. The holster is very well made and fits the gun like a glove. The retention strap/snap is easy to unsnap and re snap. Its easy to draw and re-holster when holding the holster in your hand ( I'll get to that later). The paddle is contoured to my body perfectly and stays in place rock solid. It supports the weight of the heavy gun with ease. The holster hugs my body close like it should and I wore it with a large sweatshirt type jacket all day and it never really showed through. Its only downfall in my opinion is that it rides really high. I'm 5' 10" and 165 pounds and for me to draw the weapon I have to pull it straight up really far to clear the holster. So much so that it feels really awkward. Maybe its the barrel length? A 4506 would be worse as you can image. I'm going to continue practicing with it however I always carry a Keltec 380 in my right front pocket and then about 95% of the time 3913 ride in a IWB holster.

Congratulations!!

If my wife bought me all that I'd immediately check her car for damage or her closet for new clothes.... :D
