Hello all:
At the risk of getting flamed here I go: I wish S & W would make a J Frame that has a comparable trigger pull to the Ruger LCRs "right out of the box."
A fellow on another thread (not board) said he wished they would start with a "clean sheet of paper" and design a new J Frame that did not rely on 100 year old design. I "second that emotion."
I do like Smith, do not get me wrong, but I am having a really hard time "bonding" with my little Model 360PD, 357 that weighs less than 12 oz., but this trigger is killing me. It takes away any enjoyment to shoot the thing.
And I know I have made this argument before but I want to make it again nonetheless: who wants to buy a $1000 gun and then have to do a trigger job right off the bat--to get it where it can be a comfortable daily carry piece?
And I will recite again, I bought the Ruger LCR first and that is what spoiled me. Are the engineers at Smith not as well equipped as the ones at their competition.
Believe me I am really trying to like this little Model 360 J but it is hard.
And all of this is meant out of respect and not to arouse any ire!!!
Just my opinion!!!!
