This is the other Triple Lock I got in trade. I believe this is one of the parts clean up .455’s that were in the large shipment to Shapleigh Hardware In St Louis. The serial number is 12895. My question on this gun is the soft blue finish as opposed to he high polish commercial finish. I have a commercial gun shipped in 1917 with the soft blue finish. Does this seem right? There is no evidence of a refinish and all the pins are proud. I assume it’s ok. What are your thoughts? Bill

Looks righteous to me as well. Nice find, definitely not refinished unless factory work. As suggested, pull the grips and look for a month and year code. I still think refinish is unlikely.
